Baby Wise is delighted to be able to offer you our services at such a special time in your life. As an experienced midwife of 21 years, I can provide continuity of care throughout your pregnancy, birth and beyond.

Postnatal Care

Baby Wise usually provides postnatal care for up to six weeks after the birth. On average there are seven postnatal visits, which includes a six-week postnatal check.

The postnatal visits area arranged to suit you after the birth. It is the aim of Baby Wise for the midwife to visit the new mum when she most likely to need assistance. Should further postnatal care or lactation consultation (for any ongoing breastfeeding problems) is required additional visits can easily be arranged.

Comprehensive Six Week Postnatal Check

A comprehensive six-week post natal check is provided. This postnatal check up is important. The check up promotes the general health and well being of both mother and baby and usually last for approximately one hour.
